Seeable items
Title says it all.
It would be really awesome thhough. Like, equippin items ans seeing them on your character. I already suggested this once and nothing came out of it. Gonna suggest again. If you think this is stupid or impractical, whatevs haters
I think its awesome
And at the end of the day, only my opinion counts, does it not?
PS: that was a rhetorical queshun. Of course only my opinions truly matter.

Well, the game DID have items. Except you could not store them separately besides the auto-equip function. And many people actually like the visuals of the equipped items (thus Mileage items were even created to "fancy" up characters).
But fear no more. Just today, the development has achieved a nice 72-slot inventory (3 item-type sepcific tabs, 24 slots each) with an equipment, pikcup, drop, organization feature! This will open up incalculable expansions of 'items' in the game engine. The only problem is, due to the advanced graphics of the core system, many prexisting items will have to be redesigned.

As a player, I do not view "redesigning" as a real problem. To you devs maybe, but not to me as a player. Usually, redesigning = good for me.

Correct, but I meant this "redesign" as in... taking a lot of effort and time.
This means much of the prexisting items (We had about 30 non-mileage hats-I predict only about 0~6 of them will make it) will be gone for the game after its OBT release, unless some nice pixel artist joins the dev team- like now.

I have another question. Will the game be 2D as in sideview(like maplestory as was suggested by the polls) or as it was before

It is actually in TD Oblique (just like before). However, the graphics have been improved to suggest more degrees/depths/faces/etc.
Sorry I can't really describe it well xD You will be able to experience it in the offline version release

That would be a good addition to the game, although it would be a lot of work to draw a character wearing every single item available, but there may be some other way to do it quicker then that, good idea though.

Yeah that's a great idea doing that as it would be boring just seeing some thing over and over again with no excitement in it. This might actually get more players

Hmm, i think it would also be great if you could cast spells to make your weapons/armor better, such as a Flame spell cast on your helmet would make your helmet catch on fire (no damage to you) and it makes you take smaller amounts of damage from fire monsters.

[GM]Jordz0005 it would be hard to do ALL of the graphics for it and plus wouldn't it be a bit easier if you pu fire in the name of the item and recode it so you get less damage that way?

Oh and darthvader uhm in the beta there are some seeable items already but there a little pixelated.However who would care about that? It's the time, the fun and consideration put into the game that makes it good. Right? No-one agree's with me?!?

Speaking of which, I forgot to mention the game resolution is higher. The character sprites, however, are not (same size as before). So yes, the equipped items will be slightly pixelated. Well we're all just blobs anyways- we don't require ourselves high details for survival
And as for that flame idea- it will be hard to resprite every equipments, but I can approach the visuals in a round-about way. The only problem is, this will lead to specific-item boosts/power ups which again, I will not include.

Yeah i agree. Hmm... We could try doing a type of extremely rare item that is a shiny one maybe. Or an extremely rare bit of equipment for each class or something?
